I met Leonard in 1949 when he started attending South Park School in our 3rd Grade Class with Mrs. Rutherford as our Teacher. At 8 years of age even, he was talking about becoming a Doctor back then in Grade School. Leonard and I conversed through the years, and got to play  our first golf round together at the 50th Reunion gathering, out at Timber Lake Golf Course. I recall a few years back, when Leonard and a Neurosurgeon reconnected a mans hand back onto his arm where it belonged as he was working on building the new bridge at Quincy Illinois. It was said that the man regained 95% use of it also and returned back to his work after a time away for healing and rehab work. I shall miss our phone conversations greatly as we had about 3 per year.

Owen was a great friend for a good many years. The last few years of school, he lived not far from me there  on S. Williams St. Owen was a great team mate also, as we played Little League Baseball for our Sponsor, First Baptist Church of Moberly. I am saddened by his passing, but am greatly Blessed by his Friendship for so many many years.

You obviously didn't know the same person as I did.

Hello everyone. I hope all is well with all of you. I'm doing pretty good here myself, going about life a day at a time, with all that is happening in our world today. It's been 12 years since I last saw you at our 50th Reunion, and was so good to see everyone at that time. Much has happened with me since our 50th reunion in 2009, and hopefully I shall be able to share with you once again when we all are together again. I think back, to our Graduation Commencement night and what our speaker said. he said that this would be the last time we would all be assembled together like this. At the time he said that it didn't register till years later, but he was exactly right, as it was only within that next year that we lost our first Classmate, Jim Allen. Anyway, take care everyone and keep the Faith and keep believing, as Yogi would say, it asin't over till it's over. God Bless You all and hope to see you again one day..
